There are two John Murthas; 35 years ago
John Murtha was awarded bronze star with combat V and two purple
hearts; now he receives awards from Code Pink which harasses families
visiting wounded service men and women at Walter Reed
Hospital…think Cindy Sheehan.
His ambition to be Majority Leader with Nancy Pelosi as Speaker has
caused him to abandon the people he served with. Veterans for the
Truth see Murtha as career politician willing to do to Iraqi Vets what
John Kerry did to Vietnam Vets- smear them with charges of war crimes.
Murtha is an opportunist willing to slander American military serving
in the field in time of war for his own advancement. Murtha no longer
represents Johnstown; he represents San Francisco.

Some have claimed that Congressman John Murtha did those Marines a
favor by insuring through his remarks that a prompt investigation
would take place. Some have claimed that Congressman John Murtha was
able to get the information before the public before the press did.
Poppycock!
Congressman John Murtha did not, by his irresponsible rhetoric, kick
off an investigation on the events that occurred in Haditha on 19
November 2005. That investigation was already under way, as Murtha
acknowledged by falsely claiming to know the results of the
investigation, that was still in progress.
Congressman John Murtha did not preempt the press in comments on the
events that occurred in Haditha on 19 November 2005.
Time
magazine had already published an account of those events
several weeks earlier, and later admitted that the initial information
came from unreliable sources.
Before the interviews that Congressman John Murtha gave concerning the
events that occurred in Haditha on 19 November 2005, I would have
counted him a brother.
That was then, this is now.
Congressman John Murtha made himself the Judge, Juror, and Executioner
for my brother Marines before he could have known the facts in the
case. He condemned them without any justification, other than for his
own selfish interests.
There are a number of individuals that have been Marines at one time
that have taken that title that can't be bought or traded, and must be
earned, and drug it through the mud. Oswald and Garwood come to mind,
among others. Now I think that Congressman John Murtha has added his
own name to the group.
I cannot call these men Brothers.

I hope Americans will not repeat history and let those in Washington,
DC, set the stage, using 35-year old rhetoric and props, to bring our
troops home to an ungrateful nation. The Navy had Kerry in 1971; the
Marines have Murtha today.
I, for one, refuse to stand by in apathetic bliss as today’s
generation of warriors returns home, exposed and exploited by
political balderdash. Those in political office are obligated to
honorably hold the trust of the warriors who hold the line.
Does being a retired Marine and a Poly-tick (synthetic blood sucker)
confer the right to engage in unethical conduct or
irresponsible behavior of such magnitude? Murtha is an OLD plow
horse that can’t plow a straight row; he’s lost his wits.
“BRAND” him for what he is
and put him out to pasture!
Americans are not so naïve as to listen to Murtha’s foolish ranting
and allow him to go unchallenged in such statements as “Once a Marine
always a Marine…” Real Americans will not stand up to say, “I’m a
Democrat…by God” for the sake of supporting such foolish and
irresponsible dribble!
The
UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS
should step up to the plate and recommend stripping this traitor of
his rank and benefits! Murtha is guilty of the same acts that the
Corps accused Jane Fonda of committing. Come on, MARINES, he’s more
guilty than Jane Fonda—after all, she was just a kid; he’s one of your
own and aided the enemy, so he should be “BRANDED”.
It’s not too late to deny this traitor of the privilege of being
called a Unites States Marine!
Hell; I know a real Marine, a Vietnam
Veteran, (PURPLE HEART), who, 35 years ago after being shot he was
suffering from undiagnosed PTSD and received a Dishonorable Discharge.
This honorable Marine suffers today with PTSD and remains outside the
VA health care system because of a service-connected condition that
ended his Honorable status with a bad-paper discharge.
America is supposed to be the land of
equity…fair is fair…come on USMC and DOD-- give Murtha his due! Bad
Conduct would be appropriate; so would Undesirable, but the just
reward for a traitor is a Dishonorable Discharge with loss of all
benefits for putting troops in
harm’s way and for conduct
unbecoming a US Marine.
It matters not if you are a Marine, whether
you support the troops, or whether you are for or against the effort
in Iraq. It does not even matter if you are a Republican or a
Democrat--right is right and Murtha is WRONG!

SUPPORT ALL EFFORT TO DEFROCK THIS FOOLISH

Now we are told that the two kidnapped American
soldiers had their genitals cut off and stuffed into their mouth. They
were brutally beheaded. They were tortured unmercifully while still
alive by the disciples of Allah, and I hear no words of outrage from
the "left" today.
Not a single word from Kennedy, Kerry, Pelosi, Howard
Dean or Cindy Sheehan – not even the ex-Marine (“ex” applies to this
particular traitorous Marine) Murtha.
If they speak at all, it is only
to blame our president. Shame on the liberals. Shame on the Democrats.
Shame on the MSM (mainstream media). Specially those like the New York
Times, who please their terrorist readers more than their American
ones.
These two kidnapped men were U.S.
Marines. They were America's finest. They were slaughtered by the
"armed" enemy, by the insurgents who applaud Kerry and Murtha's
proposals to retreat as coinciding with their own views and their
plans to drive us into retreat and defeat.

Murtha – A Legend in his own mind

Below are excerpts from article in the San Antonio Lightning newspaper
written by Major James Miles.
Miles, a three-tour Vietnam War veteran, presents a well-thought out,
reasoned piece.
[EXCERPTS:]
... In order to
prevent the killing or mistreatment of innocent civilians and enemy
troops, the military established "Rules of Engagement." Certain
restrictions were placed on military personnel before they could
engage in combat against hostile forces.
These rules became
so restrictive during the Vietnam War that American lives were lost
because troops were hesitant to take action...
... As a combat
veteran of three tours in Nam I know of which I write. The only rule
the enemy had was to win by any means available and this has been the
case in every war the US has fought, including the one we're in
now....
... Rep. John
Murtha, D-Pa, a war critic, who has called for a "cut and run" policy
in Iraq, has already "convicted" the [Haditha] Marines and called them
"cold blooded killers." Sen. Dick "Turban" Durbin compared them to
Nazi SS troops.
Sen. John Kerry,
D-Mass., accused our troops of terrorizing innocent civilians in their
homes.
It makes you wonder
just whose side these guys are on.
Murtha and Kerry,
besides being anti-war activists, have something else in common. Both
are phony Vietnam War heroes. Both suffered minor scratches that have
raised questioned as whether they were the result of enemy action or
merely accidents. Both put themselves in for decorations. Both have
refused to release their military medical records.
Murtha was awarded
two Purple Hearts and a Bonze Star during his tour of duty in Vietnam
in 1967.
Murtha gave three
different accounts of his injuries....
...Former Rep. Don
Bailey, D-Pa., a decorated Vietnam War combat veteran who served in
the 82nd and 101st airborne divisions and was awarded the Silver Star
and three Bonze Stars said Murtha admitted to him that "he did not
deserve his Purple Hearts."...
... Phony war
heroes and anti-war critics like "Porky Pig" Murtha and "Swiftboat
Kerry" and their Democrat cohorts in Congress would be well advised to
shut up and quit attacking our troops...
... To Hell with
Murtha and the rest of the anti-war, anti-military crowd.
Better yet, let's
put Murtha and Kerry back in uniform and ship them to Iraq as point
men on a combat patrol in Hadithah. They may get the chance to earn
their decorations the hard way....

“Semper I” is an old Marine Corps term applied to those selfish
careerists who place their own success ahead of their men and the
well-being of the Corps. Congressman John Murtha is a living example
of that disgraceful term.

Murtha's historical ignorance

On Thursday - 09-07-2006 - the Iraqi government took full command [i]
of the Iraqi armed forces. Congressman Murtha in an attempt to further
erode our military's effectiveness and morale, ham
string President Bush, scare mothers of sons and further
provide comfort to the enemy is promoting the reinstatement of
the draft [ii]. Despite having obviously known that the control of
the Iraqi military would be handed over to the government
of a liberated Iraq, pursuant to an August press release [iii],
Murtha chose instead to willfully to mislead Americans,
again! Murtha, the highly touted and so called expert
on military issues, who is not to be questioned, purposely
misstated that the Iraq war has lasted longer then WW1, WW2
and the Korean conflict. Murtha should at a minimum sit in on a
middle-school history class perhaps the children could get him up to
speed.
On Oct. 11th. 2002 Congressman Murtha and others approved of an attack
against Iraq, based upon evidence that existed implicating Iraq's
part in terror activities including "an operational relationship"
[iv] with al Qaida and stockpiles of WMD's. The
intelligence information came from US and foreign sources. The bulk
of the same information that was available during the Bush
Administration's first eight months was collected and ignored by
the Clinton Administration; that had Clinton acted during his eight
year reign, 9-11 would have been avoided. While the large stock
piles of WMD's were not located in Iraq, evidence shows that the stock
pile were moved to Syria [v] during the months leading to the war.
In 43 days, the US military toppled a dictator. Despite the
overwhelming successes in Iraq since America's victory over tyranny -
free and open elections, a constitution, and now an
established military - there are still factions within Iraq to
this very day that are still murdering innocent civilians
and harming US service personnel. But the extremists took a lesson
from American history and have applied it to their
situation. The Democrat party's success in retreating from South
Vietnam is their model for chipping away at America's resolve.
America's presence in Iraq is a stabilizing force, despite
the desperate efforts of the Islamic fascist through their acts
of cowardly violence towards the citizenry and military targets. Just
as we don't remove policemen from trouble spots in America's urban
centers that are overrun with drug and gang violence, we should
not surrender then retreat from Iraq or Afghanistan. We must
stay until both nations are strong enough to maintain order.
Lessons from history Murtha ignores:
History showed us that the North Vietnamese fought on while awaiting
their allies' success in deceiving America's citizenry into abandoning
the war effort. Communist agitators [vi] and Democrat activists within
America were key in North Vietnam's needless victory. Today
the Islamic fascist are holding on to the hope
that Congressman Murtha, the extremist elements within
the Democrat Party and, foreign and domestic seditionists will
be successful at assuring America's retreat before full stability can
be realized.
Murtha's current illogical scheme, his surrender and retreat strategy,
was first used in South Vietnam when our military was forced to flee,
not due to the enemy's superior ability to wage war but
because of our government's cowardly capitulation to the KGB's
anti-war operations [vii]. Following our retreat from South
Vietnam, untold millions were murdered in South Vietnam and Cambodia
by the communists [viii]. Assuming that the Democrats and
their militant Islamic beneficiaries are successful at
driving out our troops before the job is done, a blood bath will
ensue. After the peaceful citizens of Iraq and Afghanistan
have been murdered, the Islamic terrorist will reequip and mobilize,
with their sights set on Main Street, USA.
American presence assures success and Murtha's failure:
As in Iraq and Afghanistan today, America had a military
presence for over forty years in West Germany and West Berlin after
WW2 as a deterrent to Soviet aggression. We still have a military
presence in Japan and occupy the DMZ on the Korean peninsula. Had
Murtha's illogical premises been used following WW2, America would
have left Europe and Japan almost immediately after the war
was officially declared finished. The result would have been
a complete communist take over of Europe and Asia.
Murtha's alignment to "a Cult of death" and ruination of
the Democrat party:
After WW2 the Japanese and Germans, though defeated just wanted to
get on with their lives. The practitioners of Islam on the other
hand are fractured into two factions, one of the two
is a fundamentalist-extremist faction and "is explicitly
totalitarian and wedded to a cult of death," writes Christopher
Hitchens [ix]. Hitchens went on to write: "Only
one faction in American politics has found itself able to make excuses
for the kind of religious fanaticism that immediately menaces us in
the here and now. And that faction, I am sorry and furious to say, is
the left. From the first day of the immolation of the World Trade
Center, right down to the present moment, a gallery of pseudo
intellectuals has been willing to represent the worst face of Islam as
the voice of the oppressed. "
Sadly, the Democrat Party has allowed itself
to be overrun by extremist elements of the left. It's scary to think
that solely for political gain, Murtha is willing to sell out America
to Islamic terrorists. For the record, Hitchens was at one time
a literary darling of the left, until 9-11, when he broke away from
the left on the issue he describes as
"nihilistic Islamism"
[x].
Today, Murtha and other agitators are hiding behind an illusion
of political dissent and discourse that is sabotaging our military's
efforts. Murtha is aiding the Islamic fascist with his
scurrilous remarks concerning President Bush. He compares our
fighting men and women to "occupiers" and "cold- blooded killers"!
Murtha's solution--there is none:
What does Congressman Murtha propose to assure America's safety? He
has no proposals. He merely parrots the intellectually void rhetoric
of the left; those apologist for Islamic fascists; those creeps who
slice the throats of the innocents, randomly detonates bombs in
the city streets and run planes into civilian buildings. And
to believe, there is a suicidal electorate who will vote for the man,
Murtha, even at the risk of an assured future Islamic terrorist
attacks in America should the Democrats prevail in November.
The bottom line is, the horrors of totalitarianism will be realized,
in America, if Murtha and the Democrats are triumphant in November.
It is already in its infancy as evidenced by
the Democrats' demands of censorship against ABC. God help us!
