Editorial in Observer-Reporter:
Murtha should go to Harrisburg
Congressman John Murtha continues to receive the wrath of those in his
own PA District 12, as the following recent editorial to the
Washington Observer-Reporter shows:
After reading about and listening to John Murtha spout off about the
Iraq war, I have come to the conclusion that he is getting senile or
in his 70-plus years he still hasn't learned what life is about.
Someone should inform the gentleman that life is all about choices and
learning to live with the choices one makes. He chose to vote for the
war and to fund it and now chooses to criticize the people in charge
of getting the job done. Murtha and all politicians should realize the
choices they make to further their own agendas are hurting a lot of
people. We are forced to live with their choices.

Murtha / Irey race getting national focus
The Republican National Committee's eCampaign Director -- Patrick
Ruffini -- has sent out an e-message to America. Writes Ruffini:
"A group of prominent conservative bloggers is turning discussion
into action with the launch of Rightroots – an effort to support some
of the most important House and Senate candidates of this election
cycle..."
A visit to the newly online "Rightroots"
website shows a listing of GOP candidates deemed "the most important
House and Senate candidates for this 2006 election cycle." Included
in this select group:
Diana Irey --
Congressman John Murtha's PA District 12 opponent!
The brand new website serves as a collecting house as well. Visitors
can contribute to any or all of the selected candidates. As of today,
candidate
Diana Irey has received the most $$ contributions.
This national highlighting of the Pennsylvania race between Irey and
Murtha underscores what
BootMurtha.com is
saying: Rep. John Murtha is an all-American problem. More and
more Americans are realizing this and are contributing what they can
in time, talent and money to unseat this congressman.
Murtha's hometown newspaper,
Johnstown Tribune-Democrat,
writes story full of errors:
BootMurtha.com is aware of many errors contained in an article in
today's (Aug. 1, 2006) Johnstown Tribune-Democrat. [LINK

NOTE: Vets For The Truth and Swift
Boat Veterans
are not the same. They are 2 distinctly different groups.
NOTE: Larry Bailey is not a
Swift Boat Veteran. He retired from the U.S. Navy in 1990 after a
27-year career as a SEAL officer.
NOTE: Larry Bailey did not
co-author the book,
"Unfit for Command." John E. O'Neill and Jerome R. Corsi
are the co-authors of that NY Times best selling book.
