The liberal, anti-war, anti-national defense Left knows if John Murtha
is defeated in Pennsylvania they will suffer a large set-back. A
set-back to their facade that "Harry Truman" and "Scoop Jackson"
Democrats exist today.
We never met President Harry Truman... we do not know President Harry
Truman; but one thing is clear: John Murtha is no Harry Truman.
This is why the BootMurtha Campaign under Iowa Presidential Watch
PAC's Vets For The Truth Committee is so important on the national
scene. While conservatives are just
waking up to the importance of the BootMurtha project, leftwing
Democrats are rally troops to immediately raise $500,000 to
stop Boot Murtha.
Why is the Left scared of BootMurtha?
BootMurtha has already made the DRUDGEREPORT. BootMurtha already has
'boots on the ground' organizing in Murtha's own state of
Pennsylvania. Those volunteers and paid staffers are PA residents and
PA veterans. The VFTT Committee is capitalizing on prior knowledge and
victory in bringing a successful effort to defeat Murtha in his own
backyard.
The other good news is that the 'word on the street' in PA reports
Murtha is concerned. Murtha knows his charade as a strong-on-defense
congressman can easily be torn apart by the truth – truth BootMurtha
is making available to the voters in PA!
The question is this: Will common-sense, conservative Americans
recognize the value of supporting BootMurtha EARLY ON in its
efforts? To not only defeat the charlatan hawk Murtha, but to defeat
the liberal left that will fight to defend their 'stalking horse.'

Irey slams Murtha's call
for Israel to cut-n-run
As the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported last week Rep. John Murtha has
called for Israel to cut and run immediately from the Hezbollah. [LINK

Mr. Murtha, speaking yesterday at a Post-Gazette editorial board
meeting, was asked if he favored a cease-fire in the campaign north of
Israel's border.
"I think so," he said. "I think it would be very difficult to
justify continuing on."
To which Murtha's congressional opponent Diana Irey fired back:
"Last Wednesday, Jack Murtha said he wanted an immediate cease-fire
between Israel and Hezbollah.
"That is, he wants Israel to lay down its arms and no longer defend
itself against terrorists who have already rained thousands of crude
Katyusha rockets down against innocent Jewish settlers.
"This terrorist group is responsible for the murders of more
Americans than any terrorist organization other than al-Qaeda.
"This is the same terrorist group responsible for murdering 63
Americans in the bombing of the U.S. Embassy in Beirut in April 1983;
the same terrorist group responsible for murdering 241 American
Marines by driving a suicide truck bomb into their barracks in Beirut
in October 1983; the same terrorist group responsible for kidnapping
and torturing CIA Beirut station chief William Francis Buckley for
more than a year in 1984-85, before murdering him; and the same
terrorist group responsible for kidnapping and torturing to death
Marine Colonel William Higgins in July 1990.
"This terrorist group has as its stated mission the destruction of
the state of Israel."
"They should not be negotiated with, they should be exterminated."
"Why in the WORLD would Jack Murtha want Israel to lay down its
arms and parlay for peace with this group? "
"The good news is, there are 91 days left in this campaign, and
that's plenty of time to make sure the voters of the 12th District
know just who Jack Murtha really is."

Mr. Murtha expressed confidence in his re-election prospects,
insisting that his position had been welcomed by military service
members he had encountered in his district.
As BootMurtha previously reported, Murtha has repeatedly rejected Iraq
War veteran Craig Minnick's requests to speak with him. Minnick is a
resident of Murtha's hometown -- Johnstown, PA .
"I have called time and time again to Congressman Murtha's office
and they have refused to listen to me, even though I am one of Rep.
Murtha's constituents," said Craig Minnick.
Vets For The Truth recently spent several days in Murtha's District 12
and found the veterans very much opposed to his re-election. We will
be reporting more on our findings in the days ahead.
