There's MORE on the FBI videotape!
ABSCAM -- the late 1970's-early 1980's investigation stemming from an
FBI sting operation that netted numerous congressmen taking bribes.
Among those caught on the FBI sting videotape? Rep. John Murtha, who
was named as an 'unindicted co-conspirator.'
The 15-second videotape of Rep. John Murtha has been widely available
online. It ends with Murtha saying, "I'm not interested. At this
point..."
But what about does the rest of the FBI videotape capture of John
Murtha? More than what has been previously reported. According to The
American Spectator, the videotape continues with Murtha saying:
you know, we do business together for a while. Maybe I'll be
interested and maybe I won't.... Right now, I'm not interested in
those other things. Now, I won't say that some day, you know, I, if
you made an offer, it may be I would change my mind some day.
