Letter in PA newspaper to Murtha:
"Come home and face us"
Last Sunday, July 9, the Johnstown Tribune-Democrat printed an
interview with Rep. John Murtha. Regarding U.S. troops in Iraq, Murtha
claimed:
“It’ll still be an issue in the fall.
It just won’t be as much of an

Wrong again, Murtha! Constituent anger is growing within Murtha's
Pennsylvania District 12. The Union Town Herald Standard has published
a letter to the editor calling on its Congressman John Murtha to "Come
home and face us."

... What will it take for you and your ilk to get their message? Will
California have to be erased from our map? Will Chicago or New York be
reduced to rubble with bodies and parts strewn about like litter?
Will Washington, D.C., be vaporized into chaos? And why do you hide
outside your district when you make these statements against our
military and our country?
Come home and face us, Mr. Murtha.
