Press Conference August 3, 2006
to announce details of a
 National
Veterans Rally
to be
held in Rep. John Murtha's hometown of Johnstown, PA!
Johnstown PA... A press conference will be held on Thursday
August 3rd at 11am to make public the details of a national
veterans rally to be held in Johnstown, PA. The
press conference will be held in front of Congressman John Murtha’s
office, 647 Main Street, Johnstown,
PA 15901.
Local rally organizers will announce that the national veterans
organization “Vets for the Truth” (www.BootMurtha.com)
has agreed to sponsor the rally and invite veterans from all over the
nation to attend the event.
Veterans and supporters of our troops from all over the nation are
expected to pour into Johnstown, PA in October to show their outrage
at the treasonous comments made by Rep. John Murtha about our troops.
On hand to make the announcement
will be local rally organizers:
Craig Minnick, an Iraq War Veteran and Lieutenant Colonel in
the Army Reserve
Harry Beam, a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel and Vietnam
Veteran
Mark Parker, an Air Force Veteran
Parker is a former Johnstown radio and television personality and the
current PA Chairman for Vets For The Truth.
Special guest at the press
conference will be:
Larry Bailey, President of Vets For The Truth.
Bailey is a retired Navy SEAL Captain and former Commanding Officer of the
Naval Special Warfare Center, where all Navy SEALS undergo basic and
advanced training. Larry was President of Vietnam Vets for
Truth, and organizer of the Kerry Lied Rally held on Capitol
Hill in Washington, D.C. in 2004.
