Murtha's Code Pink star
grows brighter
You won't see these photos of Congressman John Murtha
in the state or local Pennsylvania newspapers. And you sure won't see
these photos of Murtha on his congressional website. Sadly, these
photos are amongst the avalanche of disturbing Murtha activities that
are never reported to PA district 12 constituents.
Stunned PA district 12 constituents are just now seeing for
themselves how profoundly Murtha has abandoned their values. As they
say, a picture is worth a thousand words:

The photos on the left show a proud John Murtha accepting awards
from Code Pink. Who is Code Pink? It's the group that regularly
harasses families visiting wounded service men and women at Walter
Reed Hospital.
Murtha never put this photo on his congressional
website. It only surfaced briefly last January on the Code Pink
website – which has since mysteriously removed it. On the right is a
photo of Code Pink-o's with member Cindy Sheehan and guest Hugo Chavez.
[NOTE: Code Pink raised over $600,000 for the Iraq insurgency.

Today, Boot Murtha uncovered more photos of Murtha's anti-military
activities. Now he's posing with Military Families
Speak Out (MFSO) during their recent protest on Capitol Hill in
Washington, D.C.

Among MFSO's members: Hugo Chavez-loving Cindy
Sheehan. [reference] Notice the 'dead' soldiers' boots and flag-draped
casket? As you can see, lMFSO uses the same 'Code Pink' tactics.
Capitol police had to force them to remove the casket from the
sidewalk.
Like the Code Pink photo-op, the MFSO photo-op isn't found on Murtha's
congressional website or printed in any PA newspaper where real
constituents can see them. But they are online
here. (Don't be surprised if the one of Murtha
'disappears' soon...)
Stalking is another proud MFSO tactic.
Several members of MFSO recently
showed up at the home of Congressman Rohrabacher (R-CA),
trespassing, yelling and leaving 'dead' solders' boots on his lawn.

[EXCERPT:]
Then, the protesters started shouting: "Bring them home! Now!"
As the pitch rose, the congressman ran out of his grey stucco home.
He was barefoot.
"You just woke my babies!" Rohrabacher said. He and his wife,
Rhonda, have 2-year-old triplets. Rohrabacher said he was on his back
porch when he heard crying over a baby monitor.
So, those are the facts and photos you won't see
reported in the state and local newspapers of Pennsylvania or on John
Murtha's congressional website. MFSO and Code Pink love John Murtha.
They love him because Murtha now represents their values -- not
the values of those who elected him to office.
How many members of Code Pink or MFSO do you
think live in Congressman Murtha's district? We're guessing a big, fat
zero. Yet Murtha gladly meets with, listens to, photo-ops with and
accepts their accolades and awards. Meanwhile, Murtha repeatedly
refuses to meet with Iraq War veteran Craig Minnick -- a constituent
from his own hometown -- and others who opposes Murtha's War on
Iraq statements. [link

That's right -- Code Pink and MFSO members (who do not elect him) get
Murtha's attention. Iraq War veterans from his hometown (who have
elected him) do not.
Murtha's clearly abandoned the common-sense,
conservative values of his district. It's time for the voters of his
district to see for themselves what their local and state newspapers –
and Murtha himself – refuse to make known.
Murtha loyalist says "no more"
Congressman John (Jack) Murtha's radical about-face,
left-wing march has left many of his constituents back home puzzled –
and angry. Murtha's district is strongly pro-military. Below is a
comment from one of Murtha's constituents posted on the
Johnstown Tribune-Democrat's
online Discussion board:
"I've long been a supporter of his, and if
not for his vicious verbal attacks on our military heroes, I may still
be among his most loyal supporters.
Play petty politics if you want, Jack - and criticize every
Republican you can find any nit-picky details on to further your own
agenda.
But DO NOT use the brave men and women of our military to further your
own aspirations.
Murtha has done a lot of good for the 12th District - and for the
Greater Johnstown area. But he has done no more than any other
Congressman has done for their district.
Turning on people who have done NOTHING to you is as cowardly an
act as I have ever witnessed in my life.
Turning on a group of people who have no way of defending
themselves against your grandstanding - such as our military - is
totally unforgivable.
It's time for a change.
Jack Murtha has proven he no longer represents ANYONE except
himself and the Democratic party. Absent any tangible topics on which
to bash President Bush - Murtha has instead chosen to target the
defenseless military Bush commands.
