THE MURTHA UPDATE
September 13, 2006

From the Rumor Mill...

Murtha: "Mine's bigger than yours"

Rumor has it that that the Murtha camp is pulling out all the stops to make sure that his Sept. 30th rally at Central Park in Johnstown overwhelms the Boot Murtha rally the following day.

A source also says that Murtha's people plan on picketing in large numbers while our rally is going on inside the Cambria War Memorial. It seems that the Murtha camp-- wants the headlines on October 2nd to read 'Murtha's rally dwarfs Boot Murtha rally.'

Former Georgia Senator Max Cleland's people have already set up shop at the Murtha HQ to coordinate the effort.

Of course, the challenge is that Murtha and Cleland have unlimited funds to charter buses and pay for airfare for their radical hate-America left-wingers.

"The fact is, they can picket all they want, and they can make all the noise they want, and they can spend all they want, but they CAN'T keep us out of Johnstown. President for the Vets for the Truth Larry Bailey said. "Let's show them what a grassroots, low-budget, pro-American political movement can do when it gets its hackles up."

"Even if you've never been to a political rally in your life, come to Johnstown on October 1st! Let's show the world that, unlike John Murtha, we SUPPORT our troops!" Bailey said.
