To All Marines and Navy FMF Corpsmen:

ALL Marines and Navy Corpsmen should find what our former Comrade in Arms Rep. John Murtha has been doing of late, and since his service in the Corps, in a single word: Reprehensible. 

He has brought shame and dishonor to our Corps. He has aided and comforted our enemy while our brother Marines and Corpsmen have been wounded and killed in action in defense of our National Security Interests.  Worst of all, he has dishonored himself, and rejected the code of Honor, Duty, and Fidelity to the Corps and this Country that has made the United States Marine Corps the finest and most feared fighting force the planet has ever seen.

I sent a 10 dollar donation in today. Unfortunately, campaigns cost money. But this is a sacrifice I'm willing to make as an individual American, an FMF Corpsman who was proud to serve with my brother Marines.

I challenge all of you who read this---

Donate---do it as an individual, AND Because you are as proud to be a Marine today as you were when you first wore that Eagle, Globe and Anchor. 

When I wore my first set of "Charlies" as a Navy Corpsman and wore my fore and aft cap with the EG&A for the first time, I was humbled and proud enough to have my chest explode. The Marines changed my life forever.

I changed from a disgruntled, underappreciated and underpaid squid on my first day in the Division, to a Patriot -- who would have gone in with my Marines anywhere, anytime -- without pay if need be -- to help the Corps protect my Country and its interests.

I didn't even get into that uniform until the grunts had run and humped 65 lbs off my pear shaped Sailor’s body, because I had too much respect for those who wore it, and those who wore it before me, to be seen in it in physical shape that would bring discredit upon the Corps.

And then I see Murtha speak and read what he writes, and it sickens me.

If 5 bucks is all you can spare, spare it.

Remember those kids overseas who you gave your C-Rat candy to -- the way they looked at you and how it made you feel.

The way I felt when an old Korean gentleman looked at us moving through the mountains while training with the ROK MC and said in broken English-- "US MARINE KEEP COMMUNIST AWAY"

The Iraqi citizens that tell our young Marines -- PLEASE DON'T LEAVE US UNTIL WE CAN DEFEND OURSELVES!!

Then think about John Murtha. The things he's said to the world about our brother Marines and the Corps. We need to pack his seabag and send him home, where he can do the Corps, and its mission no further harm. So we, as Marines and Corpsmen, can send Murtha a letter in November saying -- YOU'RE OUT -- AND WE HELPED!!!

Hi, I have great respect for all former Marines to include general officers. I believe everyone has a right to his/her opinion but in time of war, we must all rally around our troops and country due to the fact they are in harm’s way. The very fact that people portray our troops in a very negative fashion (Senator Durbin calling our troops Nazis) or Murtha portraying our troops as being defeated in Iraq, is just not the American way. So I ask Murtha, is getting elected or vying for leadership positions more important then a victory over terrorism or supporting our troops?

We once had unity in purpose in this country. That seems to have faded in time and with this comes disloyal individuals as Murtha, Durbin, Pelsoi, Reid and a hand full of other so-called Americans. So I ask, Where is the loyalty to our troops and country?

Seventeen years ago my son was killed aboard battleship Iowa. I'm sure you all remember the scandal -- a young man, Clay Hartwig, was blamed for the murder of 46 shipmates. After a false report was issued, Clay's sister Kathy Kubicina, Nancy Lewis and I started our own investigation.

We sought the help of our congressmen. I contacted Mr. Murtha's office and scheduled a meeting with Mr. Murtha. We traveled to Washington DC -- 4 1/2 hours for me, 9 hours for the Hartwig family. We met up with Charley Thompson a producer of 60 minutes in DC, and were expecting to get some help from Mr. Murtha. Upon entering the office we were met by one of Mr. Murtha's aids and told that Murtha couldn't meet with us because he was busy with the defense budget and didn't have the time to meet with us. Well after returning home, I turned on the news and there was John Murtha campaigning at the Northern Cambria Fair -- just about 1 hour from my home.

You might say this was nothing, and it happens all the time. Well it was important -- 47 men were called stupid, homo's, druggies and their jobs could be handled by monkeys ,and last but not least the honor of a young man was in question.

My son and 46 other men were doing experiments that, in the end, caused their demise. My question to Mr. Murtha was going to be, how much money did you, Mr. Murtha, authorize for the experiments that killed my son?

The money had to come from the defense budget and Mr. Murtha was in charge. Could this have been the reason Mr. Murtha chose not to meet with us?  Just an added note: the man that did the investigation was a friend of Mr. Murtha's. He was also a captain of the battleship New Jersey that was also doing experiments when it was in service.  I ask, was Murtha part of the Iowa cover-up?  In my opinion, and again I say in my opinion, and I'm allowed an opinion, Murtha was apart of the Iowa cover-up.

It's time to go, Mr. Murtha, and I hope this information will give you all the time in the world to spend in the cow barns.

It seems that you have wrongly accused our fine military, specifically the Marines involved in the incident at Haditha of being "murderers and baby killers" long before an investigation was even launched.  To date, these Marines have not been charged with any crime.  I find it dispicable that someone of your stature and caliber would so carelessly accuse our military of such atrocities.  I feel that one of our Congress's highest callings is to staunchly defend our great Constitution.  It seems that you have failed this duty, by presuming these men guilty, rather than innocent. I had been a Murtha supporter even after leaving the Air Force. He had always been a supporter of the men and women serving our country either during war or peace time. You knew he wasn't the honest politician he put forth, how many really are, but he was there for the military. To the best I can ascertain he never served in Korea. As an officer he was a reservist with not much active duty. His tour in Vietnam was as a rear echelon staff officer. He never saw any real combat. He spent his time on I&I duty in Johnstown politicking. His Distinguished Service Medal upon retiring from the reserves was a pure political award from the democrats. His career might not be as phoney as Carey's, but it wasn't anything remarkable. As a retired regular, I have nothing but disdain for him. Murtha is a disgrace to the USMC and to the congress and the United States in general.  I served in the Corps for four years from ' 61-' 65 and it is embarrassing to current and former Marines who love the Corps as I do to hear a supposedly Marine veteran speak as he has about our President Bush and our loyal military personnel who are defending our freedoms in the Middle East and elsewhere.  I would love to see him and the rest of the liberels in congress defeated.

I just wanted to take a minute of your time and tell you how grateful I am for you and your efforts. I have a grandson who is in the Marines. He is not one of the ones being investigated, but was Iraq at the same time on his second deployment. I have had the honor of meeting one of the Mother's and the Marine who is now facing possible charges for doing his job. I do not and cannot understand why this is going on. I can't understand how 9/11 can possibly be so easily forgotten in the heat of political interest. This entire thing is political. I wonder how many of them have a young loved one over there fighting for our lives? How many have seen the horrors of battle? How many have a loved one that puts his life on the line every day over there to protect us? I am a firm believer that unless you are there, you have no idea of what it is like. Who knows how you feel when you see a brother in arms blown apart right in front of your eyes? It is a well know fact that they hide behind their women and their children. Such a chicken way of fighting! They have hit us on more than one occasion and they will do it again. They teach their children to hate Americans from a very early age. We, as Americans, can not believe there can be such evil people in the world. We, as Americans, are the ones who take care of everyone else.

As far as I am concerned John Murtha should be tried for treason. The very idea that he was a Marine sickens me. He probably was not a very brave man. I, for one, would never want such a person to represent me in any way, shape or form. I would be ashamed if he were from my state!

I hate to think that my grandson might have to do a third tour over there. I would worry myself sick knowing that they are so limited on how they engage their duties. I feel like it is now almost to the point of them introducing themselves and asking that person if they are enemy or friendly!! That is ridiculous. These young people are over there defending a country that they love and each and every one of us. If it weren't for them, John Murtha and his followers would not be able to use them as scapegoats! To call them cold blooded killers is beyond cruel, and like I said it is treason! Maybe he should think of going over there and running for office! Don't you just know how much they would love him. He probably would not do well being captured and having to think about whether they would behead him or not!! Get a clue, John Murtha! Mr. Murtha did a great injustice to the fine Marines and their families when he chose a very public media venue to condemn these young men prior to the completion of ANY investigation.  These Marines stand for our freedoms.  One of those is the right to be considered innocent until proven guilty!   For Mr. Murtha to wound them to further his ulterior motive is beyond disgusting.  Americans should be outraged and Pennsylvanians should prove in the voter booths that such political tactics are unacceptable.  You don't toy with peoples lives in matters of life or death to try and win another term in office!  These heroes, these defenders of our freedom, deserve better than they've gotten.

Let's see. Murtha says in his book "From Vietnam to 9/11" that he knew ever since he was a little boy, that he would some day be a Marine colonel and a congressman.

So he volunteers for 'Nam as a safe "intelligence" officer instead of front line combat. He sends letters of his "heroic" exploits home to the newspaper -- which later prove to be lies --  then when he comes home he runs for state representative.

Sounds to me like Murtha's Vietnam service was "political PR" instead of patriotism.

Murtha has lived on the public dime all his life -- except for a few years he ran his daddy's car wash - and you can believe he didn't wash a car himself.

Murtha's life on the public dime started in the 1950's during the Korean War , but he never went to Korea. Then he went to school on the GI Bill, then collected checks and benefits as a reservist. Then he cashed-in as a state rep., then a congressman.

Murtha has never had to do a hard day's work in his life; either he lived on the public dime or he ran his daddy's car wash.

He's a multi-millionaire with about 12 million in his pension account. If he leaves, he will live out his life on the public dime. THE TRAITOR!

"I saw your website bootmurtha.com.  I am an Army officer currently stationed in Iraq and recently spent a week with a unit of Marines.  The Marines of this unit would love for Murtha to come and visit them and explain to them the rules of engagement.  They have had several KIAs over the past few months.  I won't e-mail their thoughts on Murtha but you can imagine.  During the week I spent there, they had the first two-day stretch when they were not IEDed, fired on or had indirect fire on their FOB.  But some bag of wind sitting back in the states can mouth off without any evidence.  They were bitter.  Hope they stop in to visit Murtha on their way back home.

* The unemployment rate in the District is higher now than when Jack Murtha first went to DC and brought back all that pork.

* The front-page headline on August 10 of the Tribune-Democrat contradicts Jack Murtha’s claims of virtue and accomplishment: “City to remain distressed”.  Johnstown has been “distressed” for the last fourteen years with no prospect for change—for at least another three years.

* The $450,000 contract Jack Murtha announced, just in time for the Diana Irey office opening, is to produce a titanium-alloy steel for the Army and provide jobs for 20 people. Does the puniness ($450,000) of the Gautier contract reflect Jack Murtha's conviction that ours is an armed force he would not join, or his waning influence? When I do the math that provides for $22,500 per employee for the whole project, materials and all else. The pay might reach the much-politicized minimum wage. I will bet Laurence Pelosi, the nephew of Nancy Pelosi did better than that after Jack Murtha leaned on the Navy to transfer the Hunters Point Shipyard to the city of San Francisco.

I really appreciate folks like yourself who stand up for the honor of both veterans and active duty personnel.  While I was not in the military, several members of my immediate family have served in the Army, Navy & Marines.  My paternal grandfather was killed in November of 1944 in Germany while serving as an infantryman with the 3rd Armored Division.  He was awarded both the Purple Heart and Bronze Star posthumously.  I had the honor to meet his best friend who was with him when he was killed by shrapnel from a German artillery shell.  My son and I spent over 3 hours listening to him recount his memories.  Please keep up the good work.

I applaud your efforts to help expose "The Fat Bastard Traitor", John Murtha.  As a fellow Vietnam Combat Veteran, I continue to be daily outraged at the likes of Murtha, Kerry and my most despised, "The Traitor Bitch" Jane Fonda.  I sport a BOYCOTT JANE FONDA, AMERICAN TRAITOR BITCH bumper sticker and have received numerous nods of approval to those sentiments.  I would like to add one with Murtha's name, too.  John Kerry, Jane Fonda and now, Murtha have betrayed every individual who has given of themselves in service to our country.  I never thought that I would, again, see the day when such sentiments were voiced by another American.  My son-in-law is an active duty Army Ranger and I am devastated that he has to endure such hate-spewing monstrous traitors.  Of course, as a Ranger, he handles such matters with typical composure and makes effort to calm ME down!

Will some one please find the quote from Rep. John P. Murtha "that if the 12th district does not elect him they will not receive any more money for their depressed area..."...? I did not know that Murtha was the one who got the money... I thought the money came in because of it being a depressed area and any elected official  elected to the House of Representative was able to receive the depressed money.

I call it blackmail if the quote is true, that Murtha is so powerful after being defeated he can keep money from coming into the 12th district which is depressed and has been depressed the whole 32 years Murtha was in Washington D.C....and he has won election after election for the reason ....of keeping the  12th district depressed while he gathered power in Washington. D.C.

Murtha Should Shut Up! Any good soldier knows that he never does ANYthing that would undermine the soldiers in the field - as it could mean the difference between life and death, failure and victory, and directly affects their morale. It also stirs up the enemy and "encourages" them. These very same political tactics used during the Vietnam Era - when personal and party political gain was put over the best interests of soldier's morale, lives, and this nation's (the people) best interests. 

It is not a matter of a Constitutional right to free speech. It is about responsibility, accountability.  Murtha should know better, but after 32 years as a career politician - at best he has forgotten.  We have heard that there is something else far more repugnant going on.  It is this:  Murtha is quoted as saying "I will do whatever Nancy (Pelosi) wants me to", including campaigning with candidates in 41 other states (1 turned him down) - because of his aspirations to go higher in the Democratic Party or even a run for President.

They are bringing out the known far-left liberals who also fronted for Kerry in 2004 - against real Iraq and other war time citizen-veterans who ARE voicing their Constitutional right against what Murtha has done.  Everyone wants our soldiers to come home, but even those on the ground say that they don't want to come home until the job is done and done right.

BootMurtha.com is a campaign by veterans, veteran's families and those who feel strongly enough to shut the irresponsible (and some say traitorous) mouth of Murtha and stop making conditions for our soldiers worse than they already are - when they are just doing their duty per their voluntary legal contractual agreement.

Remember, we have a volunteer military - no one is drafted to do what they come forward to do - because they are patriots and want to help protect this nation known as America.

John Murtha has turned his back on not only the service members of this nation, who volunteer for dangerous duty, low pay and substandard living, but more on the brotherhood that is instilled in Marines from the time they get to boot camp. He has more importantly turned his back on the constitution, something he took an oath as a Marine to protect and as an elected official to uphold. This seems to me that he could be impeached or recalled for failure to follow the simplest of tasks. I for one refuse to shake hands with or to show any more respect than ordered by the UCMJ to this man. He is one of the few that you consider an EX-Marine, which is an insult considering our credo of "Once a Marine, Always a Marine".

I am a Marine Corps Vietnam vet. A former Marine. Murtha is no longer a former Marine. He is what we former Marines refer to as an Ex Marine, a Marine that has dishonored the Corps. Let's get him the hell out of our Government and elect someone with some backbone in.

 We would like to help. If any vets need a place to stay for the rally in Oct. we have a room and are in the 12th district not far from Johnstown. If there is anything else we can do please contact us.

 Vets for Truth needs to be a "permanent political organization" in America just like the Labor Unions, NEA, NOW, NAACP, Moveon.org, etc.  The Vets and all freedom loving patriots in America need a voice speaking for them and TO THEM in every election.  

What do we need to do to make it happen; to make Vets for Truth a permanent political organization?

Thanks for taking action against this treasonous representative. Let's make Murtha to the IRAQ vets what Fonda was to us Vietnam vets.  Let's give him the middle name of
"FONDA" to put him in the true light he deserves. Every time he makes one of his statements which is against the war or the President - he gives aid and comfort to the enemy!!

I am a 3-year veteran of the Iraqi war and former USM. I think I have met my first X Marine. I know Iraq more than the congressman can ever hope to. I have been in every corner of Iraq and have fought along side all of the coalitions forces and Iraqi forces. He has no idea!

 Sir, Respectfully suggest that his comments are: 1 Giving the enemy the incentive to keep fighting.  2 Undermining our troops by his comments about murderers. 3 Let's call him "Kid Alkida"  or "Kid Taliban" 4 How about resurrecting 'No man is above the law'  'A public office is a public trust'?    I am fed up with our own people assisting the enemy with this type of behavior.

Count my husband in also. He was a Navy Corpsman attached to A Batt.  1st Battalion 11th Marines during the Viet Nam War .Once a Marine, always a Marine except for Murtha.

I have never been so angry to witness such outright public corruption as Murtha's dishonor to our servicemen for his political gain. He has ignored their intentions for the noble cause of defending freedom to make such a baseless assumption which undermines their honor and the honor of us all which is necessary to win this war that must be won at
all costs. By undermining our honor he has contributed to the perpetuation of the war by directly contributing to the defiling and misunderstanding of our noble intentions fueling the anger of those we must to help and the strength of our enemy, which will lead to the loss of more lives including those fighting for our noble cause.

That makes me want to up chuck. He is fake. The media if it's worth it's salt should know a brave man who has been in war never brags but keeps his mouth shut. I called Murtha's office and told his staff to get him some treatment, that he needed to shut up and stop giving comfort to our enemies.  His comments sickened me.

Use this $100 in the same spirit as the $100 I gave to the swiftboat vets. It does make a difference.

If we had known phoney LOW level officers like Kerry or Murtha were "APPLYING" for BANDAID purple hearts, you can be sure, they would have become eligible to recieve the .....REAL THING for.... REAL WOUNDS. These two sickening pieces of trash need to be left at the curb for the trip to the dump. Please make a bumper sticker for Murtha so I can put it right next my "Flush the Johns" sticker still on my van.
